Cydney Clemons

Cydney is an architectural intern in the Raleigh office of MBF Architects and a candidate for the ARE with the NC Board of Architecture. A North Carolina native, Cydney's architectural studies began at the Virginia Tech School of Architecture + Design where she received he Bachelor of Architecture in 2001. Prior to graduation, she interned with RGG Architects in Durham, NC, and Ritter Architects in Alexandria, Virginia.
Before joining MBFA in May of 2008, Cydney interned with Meg McLaurin, AIA, and the Raleigh office of Boney Architects (now LS3P).
Cydney has been active with AIA-Triangle and the Triangle Young Architects Forum since 2002. She recently completed two years as YAF Director (a member of the AIA-Triangle Board of Directors), where she organized ARE study groups, local building tours for continuing education and a service project to design bus benches for Capital Area Transit in Raleigh. She lives near Peace College with her husband, Shawn, and two rescued Labrador Retriever mixes named Java and Porter.
